Born in the countryside of Bahia and embraced by the capital Salvador, Andre has been a musician, curious and nerd since he was at least 10 years old.

He started his interest in electronics while still in high school, making effect pedals for guitar, then studying Electrical Engineering at UFBA for 4 years.

​

After transferring to the Interdisciplinary Bachelor of Science and Technology, he began to focus on art and technology projects by co-founding ICON (Laboratory of New Interfaces).

 

During this period he started working with music production, recording, mixing and mastering engineering, as well as acting as a sound technician (front of house), for some bands such as Tangolo Mangos and Leonel, as well as local concert venues.

 

Since school he has created creative electronic circuits, taught several courses in electronics, Arduino and programming, most recently the Art and Technology course at MAM Bahia.
